Description

The cleric channels divine power to repel the forces of the undead. When this ability is used, the player rolls a number of d6 based upon their level and Wisdom modifier, as shown in the following table:

Cleric level # Dice Rolled
1 WIS modifier
2-4 WIS modifier +1
5-8 WIS modifier +2
9 WIS modifier +3

If any die rolled shows a 5 or a 6, the turn attempt is successful and all undead creatures within 30 feet of the cleric must roll a 6 on a Wisdom Resistance Roll to avoid being turned.

Undead creatures that fail their Resistance Roll are repelled and must flee their full movement speed away from the Cleric and cannot willingly approach or attack the Cleric for a number of rounds equal to the Cleric's Wisdom modifier. Undead creatures that make their Resistance Roll are unaffected.

At the GM's discretion, weaker undead creatures (such as skeletons or zombies) may instead be instantly destroyed by a successful Turning attempt. For every six rolled during the Turn attempt, the Cleric destroys one undead creature without allowing a Resistance Roll. Note: Certain intelligent undead creatures may be immune to the Cleric's Turn Undead Power; See Chapter 7: Bestiary for details.
