Description

This spell removes magical stone skin effects and halts ongoing petrification. If the target is in the early stages of being turned to stone (not fully petrified), the spell safely restores their flesh with a 1 round casting. If the target is already petrified, the spell becomes a delicate and dangerous operation. The caster must concentrate for 1 to 3 full rounds before completing the spell, then make an Intellect Ability Roll:

• 1 round: Must roll a 6 on at least one die

• 2 rounds: Must roll a 5 or 6

• 3 rounds: Must roll a 4 or greater

The longer the caster concentrates, the greater their chance of the spell succeeding. If the spell is interrupted before completion, it fails entirely with no effect. If the Ability Roll fails, the target's stone form crumbles to dust, permanently destroyed.
